PT10/11 Transfer Time
Good day, I recently purchased a PT10/11 license transfer. I got the email from iLok saying the transfers were done, it showed the licenses there, and stated all was well. I logged into iLok.com and got the new manager but they don't show up. At what point should I contact them about it, give it a day? Or should it be showing up right away?

Well that is frustrating. I've checked out the iLok website, and can't find a customer service support email/phone number.

So upsetting. Now my iLok is completely locked. Says it is 100% full even though nothing is on it. The manger won't sync/repair it, keeps giving me an error. So now, I can't use MP9, nor the remaining couple of weeks on my PT10 demo I had..... basically shut out completely. FML.

There are problems with iLok at the moment ... and I am using an iLok 2, covered by Zero Downtime.
In fact, I and others have had an issue for days which has yet to be mentioned on iLok's "Known Issues" page. Fortunately, Avid has provided a temporary workaround. Thank you Avid! That said, [and as I've told iLok/Pace] I understand that mistakes happen, but given the nature of their product, they should have an effective contingency plan. They should also be responsive, and "on point" in their response.

I have an iLok2, no issues there.
What is the work around from Avid? Can you share? |

In order to upgrade from PT9 HD to PT10/11 HD, the iLok software requires that the PT 9 HD license is surrendered. Every time I've attempted to select the license for surrender, iLok License Manager crashes.
I've attempted this multiple times, and have followed the Sync/Repair related instructions from the "Known Issues" page at iLok. Nothing has changed. I am unable to install the new licenses as the iLok program won't allow me to surrender the old license ... and yes, the iLok2 in question is covered by Zero Downtime. Thankfully, Avid has granted me a 30 day rental license which does not require a surrender of pre-existing assets, so I am able to work. Hopefully, Pace will come up with a fix within that time.

I'm having the EXACT same issue. Tried 10 times on three different computers, did all the sync repair stuff too.. Waiting to talk to AVID, the rental solution seems to be the way to go, I hope they offer it. I'll let you know what happens, 30 days and counting for you!
