Anyone using the FATSO?

I was considering purchasing an Empirical Labs FATSO to put behind an Avalon AD2022. I run all my keyboards and Mics (vocals guitars, etc... through the AD2022 before I go into disk and it sounds like the FATSO would add a variety of sonic charter to my tracks. Anyone tried a FATSO?

I heard great things about it and ordered one to use in the stereo bus with my DMX-R100. I'll let you know the results...

I saw the demo of it at AES in LA. It sounded pretty cool. From what I heard at the show I think it will be popular with Pro Tools users.

Is FATSO an aural exciter type device? I haven't heard much about it.
