What hardware for Protools 10?
Hi everybody,
I am trying to set me a laptop and I will also buy a protools 10 so that will work with windows 7. It will be to make the composition, recording and mixing. As for the graphics card, I have no idea which brand to take. I heard about CUDA technology but I do not know what it is. I have found on NVIDIA cards. questions: * Is a AMD can work with protools windows 7? Here the model proposed by the manufacturer on the online configurator: The macbook pro I know they have a card installed in AMD, but is it can run on windows 7? * Concerning the firewire chipset, I am also thinking to buy a sound card, perhaps the mbox pro 3, on the laptop they indicate that: "OHCI Host Controller 1394 Manufacturer: O2Micro Incorporated " Is this chipset is compatible? Or should I buy an express card? Thank you in advance for your help. |
