weird Quantize behavior
I have never seen this in my 8 years of PT sequencing.
When I quantize a MIDI track, each of the existing notes in the track are being duplicated with a short (between 1 and 10 ticks) note at the start of every note existing in the track. I am having to split the short duration notes out of the track to avoid having a note off comand happen within 1-10 ticks at the beginning of each note. anyone seen this? |

Re: weird Quantize behavior
Now you might be onto something weird, but first make sure your controller doesn't have multiple notes sounding. I know that my keyboard controller will do that if I have a multi patch enabled when I'm recording MIDI. Are you positive the extra notes only show up after quantizing?
