deleting unused audio
Am I correct in thinking that when I select everything in the edit window, everything that is not highlighted in the regions window isn't being used and can be deleted?
If I delete all of these and leave what is left, will I still be able to drag a piece of audio out that has been shortened to reveal that audio that used to be there, or has that been deleted aswell? |

Re: deleting unused audio
Ahh I think I've found it, Select > all unused
I also have noticed the 'compact' option, to me this sounds like it will delete silence from the start and end of audio files, but it doesn't seem to do this, am I completely off the money here? |
