Default Fader, Mute an Solo issues in PTLE 6.1.1

Howdy all!

Got some issues I'm woundering if anyone has seen. I have some very strange things happening with my faders. mutes and solos! Basically, something might be muted in the mixer screen and yet you can still hear it (occasionally!). Also, I might have something solo'd and yet other tracks are still being played. I've checked groups and made sure that ONLY the thing I want solo'd is, and that the other trax aren't ALT-solo'd but still the same challenges.

Also I find that occasionally volumes on tracks and also auxes do not function as intened from time to time. I have to touch the fader and then it updates. This seems to happen regardless of mode (AUTO READ, AUTO OFF).

Is this just a bug? Has anyone else seen it? Work-arounds? I'd appreciate any feedback.

There is a very intermittent bug which is somehow related to the Reason plug-in.. if the plug-in is instantiated.. it can cause the mutes not to be honored.

If you can localize the problem and have repeatability with a minimal session.. let us know.

I'll check that Rail - I do use Reason a bit so that could be it. I wonder if Digi are on to this - perhaps PTLE 6.1.2 will fix this. As well as undo for the mixer page! Hmmm, and auto-organise for Markers ....

Thanks Doogz

Doogz,
I used to get this 'bug' too. Solos, mutes, not responding, etc. Now this may be coincidence or not, but back then when I first got Reason, every time I opened Reason in a PT session, I was using the Reason Example file, which has the demo song sequenced from the getgo. Since I've started opening a New Reason file, and building it myself, this 'bug' has not returned. And I've been doing some fat Reason/PT sessions for a while.
But if you're already starting with a new Reason file, then that'll shoot down this theory. As I say, could be just coincidence, but also maybe worth mentioning.
