Highlight Problem
Most of the time when we highlight a waveform and hit the space bar it will play and we can it the spacebar again and again and continue to listen to the highlighted section. However, every now and then I encounter the problem that after I hit the spacebar, the highlight disappears and in order to hear the highlighted section or to manipulate the highlighted area, I have to re-highlight it. I must be hitting some command which changes it from its normal status. Would anybody know what I am inadvertently hitting and what I need to do to set it back to normal?
Thanks to all. Quinn |

Re: Highlight Problem
It might be that you are accidentally switching to "Timeline Insertion/Play Start Marker Follows Playback". If you are in key focus, just press "N". That toggles between "Timeline Insertion...Playback" and normal. I don't remember what the non key-focus quick key is. You can change it in preferences too, under the "Operation" tab. Hope that helps. -J
