Default It doesn\'t operate in another turbo mouse.

Hello.
My Studio introduced ICON. However, is it another Toraccbo from the track ball of purity as for the mouse? It changed to L. However, even if USB is connected from the panel of ICON, it doesn't operate.
Why?Isn't it an electricity shortage?

not sure if I understand the question ? I think you're referring to the USB connection inside / under the trackball section ? the one where you can replace the trackball with a blank plate with a gap to pass the mouse or trackball cable you want to use ?

What does it changed to L mean ?

An original track ball was removed, and the track ball of Explorer of Microsoft was used. However, it doesn't operate in the electricity shortage of the keyboard of ICON. How about everybody?Do you operate with track balls other than Digi?

Assuming you correctly swapped the connections:
We also removed the original trackball, because everybody here wants to use their own pet pointing device...

At first, we used a USB extension cable coming out of the blank plate, to avoid everybody having to take out/put back the blank plate whenever swapping mice.
This did indeed not work; maybe it was making too long a cable run for USB.

So we stuck a USB chassis plug, connected directly from underneath, on top of the blank plate. Now everybody happy. Using Kensington, Mac and Logitech.

Cheers
Florian

I'm sorry but I can't stop laughing!
Ok, the D-Control 60k "mouse" as it has been called by nay-sayers, has a mouse no one wants to use!
Is that ironic or what!

uhm ... I actually like the trackball that's in there better then any trackball I've ever used ... including the super kensington (I use one of those with my powerbook when I'm @ home). The older adb version of the kensington might have come close but definately not the new one.

I can understand some people wanting to use a mouse instead of a trackball ... fine ... but changing the current trackball for another one ?

Nothing wrong with ICON's trackball.
But what about the positioning of the buttons?
And some people actually insist on the Kensington's macro functions.

A lot of people including me use it, and there is a sense of incompatibility in the position, and a lot of people are using EXPLORER for the button of the track ball of ICON. The top and bottom of the track can be freely moved, and expansion/reduction is also free.
