Bounce problem with Digi 003/pro tools 7.3.1 LE
I'm running PT 7.3.1 on a 10.4.11 Mac OS X system
I'm trying to bounce a song to .wav format but how many attempts I try, the file DOES NOT show up in my computer. So after every 4 minutes of playing the song while bouncing it, I have to find out it didn't do anything! Frustrating. Who can help me out here? I already updated to this file ptle731cs8_57257.dmg I have Digi CoreAudio 7.3cs1 I run the song with these plug-in (just in case this has impact on YES/NO bouncing): -PSP MasterQ -GuitarRigs2.1 -T-racks 1.x EQ -UVI workstation running Electric toy museum -PT's Extra Long Delay II -4-band EQ II you can also mail me offline at chillburn[at]planet[dot]nl

Re: Bounce problem with Digi 003/pro tools 7.3.1 LE
Do you mean you can't find the bounced file, or the file is blank(no audio)? By default, Pro Tools sends the bounced file to the audio files folder. I generally bounce to the desktop so the file is easy to find(but you can choose anywhere you want). If your bounced file is blank(which has happened to me a few times), you should check the bounce source. Sometimes, folks using the analog outs will accidentally have SPDIF selected as the bounce source(or vice versa) so that's something to check.

Also, are you possibly naming your bounced file something ridiculously long (>32 characters) or using any illegal characters in the name?
What about the option for 'Convert During' or 'Convert After bounce'? Which one is selected and have you tried selecting the other? |
