Default Dual boot partition for laptop with Win2000

I have my workhorse Win2000 IBM laptop, which I decided to try and use with ProTools Free, in addition to my main P3 PTLE rig. Essentially, I'd like to record our band in stereo, and also use some plugins live.
Does anyone know how to create a Win98 or WinME boot partition in addition to Win2000?
Thanks.

That was my fear. I have W2k installed currently, and I don't want to risk losing data and config. I'll pass. Thanks anyways.

i am pretty sure you can use a program called partition magic to do this easily without re-formatting and losing data. someone on the DUC should be able to tell you exactly how.

Windows 2000 has to be installed AFTER Windows 98. 2000 will detect 98 and seup the dual boot for you. You would need to format your harddrive and start over with 98 first.

There may be a way to do it without formatting but I'm sure it would be difficult.
