Change in TCE default settings not reflected

I've changed the TCE default setting in Setup/Processing to a new preset, but it still always opens at the Factory Default setting with the accuracy midway between Sound & Rhythm. Does this only affect the default setting of the TCE Trimming tool, rather than the AudioSuite effect? It seems a bit odd if that's the case, and it's hard to verify which setting's the TCE Trimmer is using as default if it isn't reflected in the AudioSuite TCE's default settings
