Ideas Needed: New digi users domain name (unofficial)!

Hey all, I am going to set up an official digi users site, that we will all be able to find information on Digidesign products. It will have reviews, a board (and links to this board), FAQs, setups, product reviews, etc...
However, what in a name? Everything!!! And I need to figure out what domain name to register.
I am asking you guys because, well you are the ones who will hopefully be going to the site. I am crossposting this to the bigger digi rooms, so I can make sure everyone gets their 2c in. Please, don't go and register the names that we mention here out of ideas of profit or spite. I am doing this out of my own pocket, for everyone here, not to make a buck- and if the name is registered, I am just moving on to another, not paying you 10 grand for it.

What is your site going to offer that is not already offered here? Everything that you mentioned for your site is already here, isn't it?

Well, it's kinda like this- Adobe's site offers just about everything that you want for Photoshop, however aren't there hundreds of sites that tell you more about photoshop?

In addition ask yourself, are you really happy with the structure of this board? Or would you rather have a peer-moderated board? You wouldn't have to scroll through 700 posts to find out the 'good stuff' about the fastest computer setups, when half of them are 'me toos'
www.slashdot.org (it's not as bad as it sounds, and there's actually less censorship than there is now).

We don't have a fast way to search the board currently, just for that, it would be nice. Their engine is a little slow.

Yea, there's some overlap between sites. My idea is for it to be more available to users. A full out unofficial FAQ would be great. I know that digi has FAQs, but then why do people ask daily questions that have been asked before? If there was one place to find out the fastest and cheapest system for an 001, that would be great. If we had articles on how certain things work together. Not everyone knows good pairing of mic/preamp/convertors. Perhaps people need one stop to find out everything about monitors, mics, AND protools.

I just think that the Digi site isn't all there should be. It's great, but I think a fully user ran site would have it's benefits. If you have any other question, I am more than happy to answer them.

I think you should make it as short as possible
and not use any dig trade marks.

In addition, we could have more space on there for group collaboration (Hey BigRedButton!!!). I think that dugx.com is a good one... it makes sense and is short.

Hey, and I didn't say you had to use an unofficial site, www.dididesign.com would of course still be a great option, but having more options is what we are all about here!!!

Too many options... anyone know which one I should choose? At one time a .org was only for NPOs, but I don't know about now.

Either one or both if you want to cover your bases.
That way if somebody types in com instead of org
they still get there.

Why can't you just post everything that pertains to Digi here, and keep it simple? I mean good luck with your endeavors, but I don't get the motivation.
