Default Unable to re-download PT10 to Mac OS X 10.8.4 [solved]

I've been running on a Mac Air and now want to switch over to a Mac Mini. I successfully downloaded the Eleven Rack from my Avid account, but when I click on the Mac installer, the icon drops down to the icon row on the button, but freezes with just a speck of the blue filled in on the download bar showing progress of the download. What do you think? (My Air also runs on 10.8.4).

I'm confused - what Mac installer are you trying to run - PT10 or the 11 Rack driver installer? This has nothing to do with downloading PT10 which you can do on any computer and move the installer over to the computer you want to install and run PT on.

If you're trying to install the 11 Rack driver once you have it downloaded from Avid there's nothing left to download. PT is a separate download which you can download and install anytime. And once you have PT10 downloaded there's nothing else to download (unless you want the Avid instruments and loops which are separate installers and downloads).

I just wasn't patient enough - but I don't remember PT taking so long to download. It's downloading - just taking a long time. It's actually not even done yet - but almost!

You never really answered the question I asked - what were you actually trying to do? As to taking what seems like a long time to download remember that the server path and load are not always the same and sometimes when things are really choked for traffic it can take a while.
