No, only 10.3.6(and up) can co-exist with 11. But you COULD do either a dual boot, or use a drive cage and swap out system drives(my system and recording drives are all in cages for easy swap). Keep in mind that, if you buy PT11, the iLok license will also run PT10.
003 does not have a stand-alone mode. Only the 002 had that.
