Narrow Mix view for selected channels
I'm pretty sure this isn't possible, but does anyone know if you can turn on "Narrow Mix" view for individual channels? I have a session that's just slightly too big to fit in the Mix window without scrolling, and it would be great to make a few of the less-used tracks narrow while leaving the rest alone.
Oh, BTW, when reading thru the PT10 manual trying to figure this out, I discovered the Wide Meters option. Pretty cool. Page 220 in the Reference Guide if you're curious. |

Re: Narrow Mix view for selected channels
Sadly, its not possible. Some things to help out: drag unimportant tracks down to the far end, maybe hide a few aux tracks that are returning effects. Or maybe use the memory "locations" to provide quick access to views with certain tracks shown, and certain tracks hidden.(or get a bigger screen)

Wide Meters have been there for ages, but nice that you found out about it now

Re: Narrow Mix view for selected channels
Interesting you mention that. In my studio, I have 2 22" monitors that replaced the single 22" monitor I had in there and I now have the single 22" in the house. The dual 22's fit a bit more on the screen horizontally and vertically because they have higher resolution (1080p native) and 16:10 aspect. So I can see more track meters and more track parameters in the mix screen than the single 22". The single 22" is 16:9 aspect and only 720p resolution. So less fits on the screen, but the information is slightly larger and easier to see.
