Plugin settings, Delay, PTLE 5.3.1
So, I finally moved to XP and 5.3.1 because the Bombfactory plugins are now compatable.
Everything went smoothly durring the installation. Not one problem. Usually when I do something like this, I make a copy of my plugin settings folder and save it to my firewire drive. Then after the installation, I copy it back so all my settings are intact. However, I am having a problem with the Delay plugins and its regognition of settings. All other plugins are fine. If I had a session with a long delay in it in 5.1.1, it opens up in 5.3.1 with the long delay in the right track in the right place, but it does not open with the settings it was saved with. It does show the proper setting name. If I go to the drop down menu and select any of the settings in there (which are my backed up settings) they all show up as names, but when selecting one, it does not change the settings displayed on the plugin nor does it change the sound output from it. Actually, some of the settings work and some do not. Has anyone seen this?

Re: Plugin settings, Delay, PTLE 5.3.1
Yeah, I noticed the problem opening the long delays saved from 5.1.1 being ignored in 5.3.1. The long delays open to the default as if you'd never made any adjustments. I mentioned it in Beta and it was never addressed.
I have always been able to save the settings when in 5.1.1 and then load them in 5.3.1 without problem though. You said some work like this and others don't. I guess I've just been lucky that all of mine have transferred okay when I saved the settings. What I did when I first noticed this was to "Save As" all my sessions in 5.3.1 so my 5.1.1 sessions were unaltered. Then if I had any problem I could always go back to 5.1.1 and see what I needed to do (at the time I was dual-booting). If I had a 5.1.1 session called "My Song.pts" I would "Save As" "My Song XP.pts" so I could easily tell which was the new version. Thing is, once you adjust the settings in 5.3.1 and save the session, the settings remain correct from that point forward. Strange stuff! Mike
