Thanks everyone for the congrats. I am so proud to be in such company of knowledgable folks. It sounds like Protools for Vista might be announced soon and I've beeen "chomping at the bit" to get a new PC for my Protools rig. The price drop for the Intel Core 2 Quad later this month is very enticing. We live in interesting times indeed.

It's almost Christmas and there will probably be a lot of newbies with shinny new MBox 2 Micros in their stockings soon. Along with all the new users, comes the onslaught of the most common questions and problems with Protools. I thought this would be an opportune time to resurrect (bump) one of my posts from a few months back to hopefully help those new users throught the initial rough times. I hope this helps reduce some frustration for some.

Thanks guys. I've been reading the posts regularly but have not had a lot of time to post as much as I would like. The seven most popular issues I listed in the original post still seem to be asked about very often so it probably is good to remind new users about them.
