Batch separate clip at memory locations exist for Post workflows?

Hi all

I'm editing a VO session where all the lines are read out on a whole pass of a recorded track 5 hours long.

There are memory locations for each of the line read from a script. Is there a quick way of batch splitting the audio by memory locations/markers? I cant seem to find anything and it is so time consuming splitting them one by one!

Any help with VO post workflows would be greatly appreciated!

- Set the grid to clips/markers
- Hide all other tracks
- Select the VO clip
- Edit (menu) > Separate clip > On grid

When I select the grid to Clips/Markers, the grid does not line up with my markers so I cant do this - If it did then this would definitely work!

Should my grid lines match my markers when enabling Clips/Markers in the grid drop down?

If I could some how get Pro Tools to separate at all my markers it would be a life-saver!

Any other ways???

Mem loc position is your grid at this point, so the rest of the vertical lines should be ignored. Just make sure to hide other tracks. If not, those clips will be part of the grid when you separate.

Thats it! worked as you said!

At first, I thought it didn't work as grid lines didn't line up but when I separated at grid - BOOM! I'm happy editing away now.
