H/W Buffer Size error - PLEASE Help
[Using Win Xp ] I'm midi sequencing, I have no audio tracks as yet, and at least once every minute I get the error message: "The operating system held off interrupts for too long. If this occurs often, try increasing the "H/W Buffer Size" in the Playback Engine panel (-6089)."
I have done this, and set it to 1024 samples, the highest setting. I have 10gigs left on the drive I am using, and as I am only midi sequencing, wouldn't think drive space would be a problem. I hav a system which conforms to the specs as outlined on the digidesign site (1gb ram, 2000CPU, Win XP) I'm not sure if this relates to the midi- muting problem I am having. Please, if anyone there can offer any advice I'd greatly appreciate it. Time is getting urgent for me. Thanks Zod |
