Pro Tools Studio 2022.5 repeatedly freezing on M1

Hello, iMac studio m1 max 64gb with Monterey 12.4. Pro Tools is beach-balling on me every few minutes usually when I try to save the session which I do instinctively all the time. I’m running a very small project just to test plugins/latency with my Dante system.

I have my system usage around only 5-6%, and tried higher buffer settings with no luck. Using a lynx Aurora(n) going into Dante Virtual Soundcard for tracking.

Wondering if anyone has had any luck on earlier versions of pro tools before I uninstall and try again.
