Using Audient ID22 and Apollo Twin Duo at same time in PT?

Greetings. Great to be back. A lot has changed since PT 6.4 and my Digi001.

I put together a new system (See sig.) and have two interfaces. I'd like to use the inputs on both for various things in the same session but just the outputs on the Audient.
Using the aggregate device capability on the Mac is this possible in Pro Tools and more importantly is it advisable?

If this is a double yes, any guidance with regard to setting this up would be greatly appreciated.

It's doable but you'll need to decide what will be the clock source.

Thanks. I'm thinking the Twin as the clock source because of the thunderbolt connection. I appreciate the input.

I noticed that the Apollo software is active in my start up folder so starts before I even start Pro Tools. Is that okay or should I clear the start up folder like the guide suggests?

Thanks for the reply. Being that I'd be using the Apollo sound card I'll assume there will be no conflict with Pro Tools trying to launch. I'll report back the results for future generations. 🙄💤
