whats up guys i just had to re install my pro tools and i dont have my user guide with my password , i got a m box with pro tools le 7.1 can anyone help me out ?

Hey, that's a problem !
You can still ask Digidesign to provide you a new ID.But I'm not sure.
Mess your room up and find your user guide.
I would have told you to upgrade and get a new ID but you'll be ask the ID of your installed version.
After I don't know if the code is directly attached to the hardware or if it's just an algorythm.

Ask Digidesign directly.

Good luck and next time write the Authorization code everywhere you can.(I have about 10 stickers on my hardware with the Authorization codes from different upgrades).

I think if you upgrade from 7.1 to 7.3 or 7.4 you will get a complete installer with a new code.

You will need the old code to purchase the upgrade, but you can purchase the full version of 7.4 for $75 and you will get a brand new code.

If you purchased 7.1 online, you can retrieve your code in your Digistore account.

Otherwise, Digidesign Tech Support are the only ones that can help you and I would recommend contacting them directly.
