Keyboard Shortcuts don't work any ideas?

Hi Guys.Just bought a new microsoft keyboard and only some of the quick key commands are working.Also tried another keyboard and had the same problem...so I'm ruling out it being just the keyboard.originally all quick key commands worked fine with my old clunker keyboard but he just kicked the bucket

any info would be awesome.I'd really appreciate it

Is this a MS Windows keyboard khooked up to a Mac?

Not a Mac.It is a Pentium 4. Thanks for the response.Any advice would help.This is a pain in the butt!!!

I had the same problem with 6.7 and 6.9 on the MAC. What fixed it for me was re-installing the keyboard/Mouse software that came with my keyboard. Check for another post about the function keys in 6.9 but I believe that was for MAC Tiger. I'm not sure what it's called but if you use function keys and they don't behave like they used to it might help you as well. Being both a MAC and PC user I'm finding that there is less and less difference every day, except that MAC's OS and file structure is Infinately more user friendly and reliable.
