Yes it does, without a doubt. My friend has a top of the line powerbook, and he is definitly envious of what I have. He was really jealous, when during a recording session I decided to throw on Akira, just for the hell of it. I love my notebook.

I was at rehearsal the other day playing a sequence with audio on my aging Titanium Powerbook,
sitting on top of the keyboard. I leaned on the keyboard, and of course the laptop fell to solid ground,
hinge broke, case cracked open on one side...
and it kept playing!
