Re: Your best top 3 short cuts?
Yes I know. Got it even assigned to one of my mouse buttons.
But nevertheless, it's the key-command I'm using 2nd most

How about command+z?
And E (zoom toggle) is something I use seven times a minute :) |

Re: Your best top 3 short cuts?
Aside from the basic R/T zoom buttons and Command+S (I think my hand actually reformed into making that shape naturally now)
•Option+F •Option+A •Control+Option+Command+Up/Down Arrow These are not necessarily my FAVORITE shortcuts, but they are the most commonly used shortcuts in my workflow.

Re: Your best top 3 short cuts?
control + Option and Minus key.
It takes all tracks from whatever state they are in and goes into Volume Lane in edit window. Do it again and it returns all lanes to Waveform lane. Very useful indeed. Especially when a random dot of automation pops up on a track so you can't use the fader. Shift+Option+U = Select Unused Files in Audio Bin Shift+Option+B = Delete Selected Files in Audio Bin You then get a dialog box asking if you want to simply remove them from session (best option) or delete from disk. I only use this when preparing to archive a session for transfer to the client's hard drive or when moving to my own archival drives. This greatly reduces the size of the audio bin, especially at 96k. Shift + Option + 3 = Consolidate Selection And my all time favorite key command... Control+ Option+ Command + Click a meter in mix window = Wide Meters. |

AND... I like cmmd/option/control "[" resets all waveform heights (without zooming out as with option/a) And cmmd/cntrl/shift "[" adjusts midi note size and range to fit in track height.. handy. |
