Hardware Buffer Error

I have a gateway PIII 866 / 256MB Ram W/Quantum FireballP LM 30gb Drive and I couldn't get 6 tracks w plugins working.
the problem was the driver for the harddisk controller. If you are using the Intel 82801ba Ultra ATA Storage Driver,go to this adress,
http://support.intel.com/support/chi...vers/ultraATA/

and download the updated driver. This will allow you check or uncheck DMA in the device manager under hard disk properties. (previously there was no box for DMA)
