Default Errors 9093 and 9129

I have a Mbox2 running on a Inspiron 6000 Notebook. I have been unable to use PT since i installed it. I got these errors messages as soon as I try to record or play. I have tried all the troubleshootings of the Answerbase and also some of the suggestions of this DUC but so far no luck. I am still waiting on e-mail answer by Digidesign, but on the meantime if any of you out there could share some input with me i would appreciate.
I am now leading to think that the problem might be with my external hard drive, a 80 GB Belkin firewire... any Suggestions...............THXS

Try increasing your Buffer size to see if you can resolve the issue. If this does resolve the issue, then the compatiblity of your note-book is questionable as it coannot handle the smaller (and faster) buffer size setting.

Thank you Davec.
I did try all combinations of Buffer sizes and CPU usages without any luck.
I have also run my system on diagnostic start up mode. All Hard drives are set to DMA.I have disabled my wireless network adaptEr and the optional battery.
The maximum i could record or playback was 05 seconds !
Some more details: I'm running PT 6.8 on a Mbox2.
Laptop Dell Inspiron 6000 with a compatible chipset - 915GM.
1.6 Ghhz. 512 Mb of Ram and external HD 80gb Belkin Firewire.

If you have any other suggestions please help.
I appreciate it man.

Have you ever run protools on this laptop? Also are you running XP SP2?

I've been getting the same problem. I restarted Windows on basic and it seemed to fix it.
