Default If I can find a file.....

If I can locate a file with the correct file name and uniquie ID, why can't Pro-Tools?

How do i FORCE Pro-Tools to "Find All Candidates" when it seems to be looking in the dark without a flashlight for a black widow spider?

The files are on the desktop.
The correct Audio Files folder icon is the ONLY one checked as "search area".
The Audio Files have the correct file name and and correct unique ID
Pro-Tools can NOT find them.

hi

maybe it'd would be worth trashing the digidesign databases folders on your audio drives.

i'm not sure if this will help, but it might be worth a try.

I'll give it a shot.

When it works corectly, I don't even know it's there... but when it doesn't... there's no getting around trying to get it to work..

Don't keep audio files on the desktop.
