How to Read OS9.2.1 PT5 session on PC PT7.3?

Hi all,

I've got a CD with some songs that I recorded on Mac OS 9.2.1 using PT 5.1.

I know that if I get to a Mac, then I can solve all my problems -

But

I can't get to a Mac for a while, and in front of me I have:

-PC with Win XP SP2
-M-Powered Pro Tools 7.3.1
-Jam Lab interface!
-Mac Drive 6
-An external USB drive that has a MAC HFS partition on it.
-Steinberg WaveLAb (Reads lots of Audio formats)

I've just read this:

And apparently, if you copy SDII files to a PC formatted disc they're corrupted!

So I'm gonna try to copy the songs to the USB external drive's MAC Partition using MAC Drive and then try and open the song from M-Powered and Re-save as Wav or Aiff!


If this doesn't work, has anyone got any other ideas?

At the end of the day, when I get back to my Mac in a few weeks I can do the conversion job, but for today, I'd like to get these songs up if I can.

Just tried to do what I said - got this:

Could not complete the Open Session... command because (-199)


Can't find this error on the DUC.


Okay, solved that error - I had to rename the session fil to .pts rather than .pt5


but now I've got another error:

Access Violation occured while translating tempo map


What's next?

Things are looking good!

Have made a new Session and am 'importing session' - and It seems to be loading up all the data!
