PCIe video card for G5
I'm just about to make the upgrade from my old Mix system running on an 800mhz G4, to a shiny new G5 & Pro Tools HD2. I've been looking at the Aurora Fuse X cards for displaying full screen video on a separate video monitor. As far as I can tell, there is currently no PCIe version of this card available. Does anyone know of any other video output cards which will allow me to display DV video from within Pro Tools?

Re: PCIe video card for G5
We are doing the exact same thing and I am very interested to know a solution as well. Either the fuse-x, or some other PCIe video card that has S-Video out that I can run the LCD monitors off as well.

Re: PCIe video card for G5
right now, most of the PCIe pickin's are slim...unless you want something that may not play on board Pro Tools. like the AJA or Blackmagic.
i know that Aurora is planning to come out with a PCIe version. it would be a great solution. bug 'em : sales_at_auroravideosys_dot_com
