installing plugins......

what folder do they need to be in????
i have a g5 (osx) with a digi002
i have a bunch of plugs, but do i need to put the rtas in a different folder than others?
please help!!!!

All the plug-ins are being put in the right place when you install them.
If you move them, PT will not find them.

Hi Woodbeatz,

The plug-in installers should place the plugs in the correct folder, which is your "plug-ins" folder. All plugs go into the same folder (RTAS, AudioSuite, TDM)

The plug-ins folder is located at:

On OS9 that would be: "Macintosh HD:System FolderAE Folder:Plug-ins".

On OSX it is: "Macintosh HD:Library:Application Supportigidesign:Plug-ins".

On Windows it is: "C:\Program Files\Digidesign\DAE\Plug-Ins"
