Default What solution to burn with Digi on win98

I'm really interesting to know what's your favorite solution to burn CD after bounce. Do you use any Wavelab or Soundforge or Pro Tools to edit the definitive mix or to do mastering.
In the same way which CD burner you used (IDE/SCSI) and wich soft.

Thank you

I use CDWIN (from Goldenhawk.com) as recommended by a tech support person here. It's basic burning software that will burn just the wave file for you. It's not expensive.

It appears alot of people use Wavelab which will allow you to do alot of mastering, however, a salesperson told me that alot of the things Wavelab can do, can be done with PTLE. IMO, I didn't see the point of spending money for software I already had (I know there are people who will disagree with that). The price was hundreds of dollars.

Depending on what you want a burner for, any burner will work. Plextor is considered the Rolls Royce of burners. Not all software will work with every burner (and vice-versa), so check it out first. Most companies provide such information at their website.

Hope this helps.

I'm running Wavlab 3.03a to do my final mastering. It is a very comprehensive product and very well laid out. There are so many features in there that I don't know about half of them. Unfortunately, it does have a high price tag, but I think its more than worth it. Not to mention, the main programmer, does tech support on www.cubase.net. Now thats what I call support. The CD burner I am using now is the Yamaha 2100EZ 16x10x40. I can't recommend that product yet cause I have only had it a week and I haven't had a chance to fully test it.
