Default extensible wave format

wondering if someone can enlighten me about this format - need to give a 'watchout' system multitrak audio, this is what it wants. this is not an option in my OS 10.3.9 001 6.4 le system have yet to go to 6.9 002 (just got it)... will pro tools in pc do it? i got one of those too...

thanks in advance

BWF files are compatible. Their software should ignore the extra chunks it doesn't recognize.

for those who need to know

watchout systems need multi channel wav files embedded with their own track knowledge. i used adobe audition to do this - i wonder if an hd system can output a surround file in wave format...
