Default MIDI Volume CC Automation won't read

On an Instrument Track, I have a CC volume fade at the end of a MIDI note, and Pro Tools 11.0.2 won't read the automation that is written.

The problem started when I changed virtual instruments and subsequently rerouted the MIDI. Since then, I cannot get PT to recognize the CC volume data. It will recognize other CC data that I programmed (CC#71 and CC#74) but just not MIDI volume.

I tried creating a brand new Instrument Track, re-instantiating another instrument with the same settings, moving the old MIDI clip to the new track, and finally consolidating the new clip on the new track... and nothing.

Replaying the performance and reprogramming the other automation is not an option.

Any ideas?

Is this CC7?

Which virtual instruments, and are they set up to respond to all incoming CC data?

So I tried a couple of different virtual instruments, and they worked fine. The one that is causing me grief is the Arturia Modular V, and it is not responding to CC volume data.

Thanks for your help. I'll try to trick the plug-in into reading the automation.
