stuck/hanging notes and ghost notes

Hi all,

I am having a big problem with stuck notes, using spectrasonics trilogy and garritan orchestra,
pretty much every time i stop play back i am left with a gpo sample looping and/or a trilogy bass note decaying.

when i record from my m-audio 88pro i get tiny ghost notes under the actual note, and these need to be deleted before i can hear anything.

The two are related im sure,

any help / advice would be great,

There are some known issues with stuck notes and certain softsynth/sampler plug-ins. Using the 'all notes off' key command is probably your best bet for now.

As for the ghost notes recorded with the 88 Pro - how do you have the 88 Pro connected to your system, exactly? Please provide a complete system profile - which Digidesign hardware you're using, any external peripherals attached, etc.

thanks for the reply,

sorry should have included, Im using Mbox and the 88pro via usb.

I sorted the ghost notes, problem was due to zone settings on 88pro.
