Default How do I get PT 6.1 TDM to recognize my hardware?

Hi everyone,

How do I get Protools 6.1 TDM to recognize the hardware I have in OS X. When ever I launch the application it says "make sure Pro Tools hardware is connected and turned on, click OK when hardware is ready". Yet, it works fine when I run in OS 9. Further more I remember after installing the software it requested that I select the correct interface before continuing, unfortunately despite selecting the correct interface, Protools failed to see it.
I have the following setup:

OS X.2.8
DP 1GHZ G4
1024mb ram
80gb hard drive
888/24 i/o
d24 card
mixcore card
single ampfarm card

I am stumped and need some help on this one guys, much appreciated!

Thanx in advance

No one has answered you I see. So.. OK everything works fine in 9.1 but not in 6.1.
Still..... Shut down. Pull your card and reinstall and make sure its in the 1st slot and perfectly in place.
reconnect your connector on the card and computer...again making sure they are on secure.

Always make sure your interface (888-24) is on before booting the computer. Thats it. That all I can say for now.

Also, I thought OS X 10.2.8 hasn't been "qualified" yet.

True. As with any Mac OS X update, let the brave and adventurous try it, while waiting for Digidesign to bless it with holy water.

Didn't notice you were using 10.2.8 hmmmm. maybe an option there if nothing else works...reinstall OS from disk and update to 10.2.6

Repair your disk permissions.
Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility then Select Macintosh HD and the First aid tab.

Thanx guys for responding,

I've tried all of your suggestions and discovered that moving around the cards in different order gave me the best results. PT6 was able to recognize my hardware when I had the d24 card in slot 1 and my Farmcard in slot 2, leaving out my mixcard, but when I added the mixcard, PT6 didn't any of the hardware installed. I also tried just the d24 card in slot 1 and putting my mixcard in place of the farmcard in slot 2 and still got no results. Any other suggestions? Is there anyone out there who is running the same or similar setup as I am? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
