PT 10 WITHOUT avid PLUG-INS?

Hi,
I just recieved my PT 10 Academic Version for students, and after installing and opening it, there are no plugins!! Not even the included plug-in package with pro tools. Any Idea of solving this?

Hi,

Can you run the installer again and make sure that the install package for "Avid effects" is selected.

See if that works and let us know.

There has been a few reports of this lately! i'll try and look around for the definitve solution. It might be permissions related or possible the plugins were installed into the unused plugins folder, BUT re-install the Avid effects first and let us know what happens!!

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the answer, I did reinstall PT, the thing is, there isn't such package "effects". Only the video extras and separetly the avid instrument installer, which also isn't detected by the software once installed.

I also downloaded the latest version of pro tools, but nothing. In the avid plug in folder is just the documentation about the plug ins.
