Cursor Problem

When I want to select a area to play I usually left click in the middle of a track and obviously the tape head in Blue or Red will align and I can hit play or record.

Well for some reason today when I did it I had to go up in the time section and actually click on the time region, instead of the editing region window. It is getting pretty bad cause I wanna play certain things and not just have to click the time region.

Here is the cursor I am talking about. I want it to be back to default in the region area where I just click and I can play from anywhere.

Any ideas?

Your "Link Edit and Timeline selection" option is disabled. Enable it by clicking the blue icon in the upper left, that looks like the orange cursor position on your screenshot.
