SCSI a must?
I heard ATA hard drives might be ok for my Pro Tool setup.. is that true?
The ASUS CUSL2 board (which I hear is the best to buy for Pro Tools) has a built-in ATA controller, so I don't want to go SCSI unless I really should. Should I? |

Re: SCSI a must?
Hello,
ATA drives have been authorised for use with PT LE and the 001, that is ATA66 7200prm drives are supposed to be able to cope with 24 tracks simulataneous playback. Dont know about more than 24 tracks but i doubt it. funnelbc |
