HD 2 Accel + older HD Process Card?

Anyone working with this type of setup?

I have an opportunity to get a couple of process cards for around $500/ea (a lot cheaper than new accel card!)

Does this work well? Is there much advantage if any to put one of these in the extra slot on my G5?

Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks
