Default Dithering on PT...

Sup guys!
I'm using PT 7.1 and I'm wondering about what plug-in should I use for dithering...I mean I've "pow-r dither" but I also got a week ago the Waves Platinum plug-ins: for example, is it better using the L2 Maximizer dithering instead of the pow-r one!?
Any suggestion?

Thanks.

Hed

And again, what about noise shaping on pow-r dither?! I mean, which one should I use? Are there any criteria for choosing'em?! Or should I go just with my ears?
Maybe these are silly Q's, but you know...
thanks again!

Go with your ears everytime, if it sounds right and you are happy, then the job's a good 'un!.

The different options are technically described in the plugin documentations, for POW-r see the DigiRack Plugins Guide.
Type 3 would be the typical recommended POW-r option for stereo material, but using the ears is never wrong.
