Default HD files-convert to LE?

I did a session on an HD system and the .ptf will not open in LE. How do I convert the HD .ptf file to one usable in LE?

It's probably a version mismatch. Most likely you have an older version of PT than the HD rig did (i.e. you're running 6.x and they had 7.x).

You'll have to go back to the HD rig and 'save session copy' and choose whatever version of PT you have on your LE rig for the session file copy.

Actually, I have LE 7.0 which we thought was supposed to open .ptf files. Does LE 7.4 open all .ptf files?

Yes, version 7 files were designated .ptf (rather than .pts as in several previous versions) and your LE system is capable of opening any session type to date. Of course, it will be limited by the LE capabilities in terms of voice count, path format, and plug-in type, but it should be able to open it.
