Default Error message M-Audio isnt turned on?

Hi I have the Fast track USB and the Producer USB. I am trying to open pro tools essential but everytime i turn it on it gives me an error message. I managed to get onto it twice yesterday. But i feel like it just lets me in whenver it wants! Ive downloaded the software drivers from the cd. Ive downloaded drivers from the website, even updates. I just want to delete everything and start over and do it the right way. Or should i do something else? I feel like nothing is working anymore unless i just restart everything that has to do with m- audio on my computer and start fresh. what should i do?
