Default PT8 Download - DMG won't mount- Please Help!

I've downloaded the full 4.08 gb file TWICE and have tried mounting both DMG's on two OS's (10.4.9 and 10.5.6) to no avail. It says "codec overrun" when trying to verify the massive image file. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I haven't yet. Just talked to Digi and they've given me a different download file through Digi Delivery. Thanks, I'll try Safari instead of Firefox. Good idea.

Same problem here. How'd you get the second file from Digi? I've just wasted nine hours downloading twice.

Repeated "Codec Overrun" errors can hint at problems in your network infrastructure. It's basically an error you get if the checksum fails, so there's bits missing. One culprit I've seen for this was a cheap in-router firewall. It decided by itself that it didn't like bits of data and discarded them. Deactivating it solved the problem for that user.

If switching apps or servers doesn't solve your problem, that could be a direction to look in.

I dug a little deeper as I just had one of these errors this morning. A quick fix is to find the .plist file associated with your browser and putting it somewhere for safekeeping, taking it out of its folder. It could be that easy. A corrupted plist was my problem this morning. If that doesn't work, clearing all your browser plugins could do the trick, as a corrupted plugin could be affecting download integrity. These are worth exploring if it worked before and you haven't changed anything in your network.
