Conform backup recording by waveform

Is there a way of reconfirming a backup / snoop recording back to clips on a PT timeline just using waveforms?

I've tried using Davinici Resolve to try and auto sync based on waveform with its based to syncing it to a video.

I'm trying to work out if I could you the originator timecode with the field recorder guide track to swap in backup recording. I'm using wave agent from sound devices to manually edit the start TC to the originator TC but it doesn't update in Pro Tools. I'm trying BWAV Meta Edit but again PT won't see it.
