Default upsample entire project from 48khz to 96khz how?

Something weird happened. I really specifically instructed my project to be at 96khz in project settings, somehow without any changes applied my project got to 48khz. This happened even when i selected 96khz at project settings, and the files that were included are 96khz.

So 2 questions:
-What causes protools to downsample my project without my consent?
- How can i upsample the project back to 96khz without manually altering all the files?
I only work at 96khz

I have only ever seen this as an operator error

start a new session at 96k > use Import Session Data, importing the old session and not converting the files to the new sample rate

Is there any way to do this and keep/convert all of your plugin, automation, and mix information?

Or do you really have to start a whole new session and rebuild everything from scratch?

You can import ALL data into a new session.

i ran in to the same issue.

The way i did it now is:
1 file ---> Save copy in
2 Select desired sample rate in the popup menu
3 save it
4 open it

Remember to copy the audio too when using Save Copy In.
