Lock midi so tempo doesn't change note position?
Is there a way to lock midi notes to a particular place? I'm putting music to video, and I need to add music to an earlier part of the quicktime movie. If I change tempo at an earlier section it'll jack up my whole scene. At this point, I think I'm going to make a separate session for the earlier part and combine them in a mix. Wondering if anyone else has any fancy ideas...
Thanks. |

You can either 'Pindown' the tempo with a Tempo Event or change the Track Time-Base to Samples.
Also, lookup 'Linearity Display Mode' in the Reference Guide, this might suit you too. filosofem |
