PT8 Questions

I followed these instructions in downloading PT8:

1. Visit the Digidesign Product Activation site at

www.digidesign.com/activation.
2. Enter the activation code (on your receipt underneath the product name) and click
Continue. (If your code isn't accepted, try again — note that 8 and B, 5 and S, and 0
and O look similar.) If you're not logged in to your Digidesign (My Digi) account,
you'll be asked to log in. If you don't have an account, click "Create profile."
3. Fill out the software registration form, and click Continue.

At this point you'll be provided with your Pro Tools LE authorization code.

. Click the "download page" link and then download your software and other
supporting documents.
Now simply install your new software and you're ready to go! Digidesign will send
you a follow-up email with all of your registration details. If you need to retrieve your

authorization code or downloads in the future, simply log in to My Digi.

I finally have everything downloaded and will be installing in the next few days. When I go through the installation process, will it ask for an authorization code and if so, is that the one that begins with DIGI? If not, how do I retrieve it?

Should a license have been sent to my iLok account?

When you install the main file, does it look for the loops as part of the installation process or are they installed separately and look for the proper directory? (I have a Windows computer)

Lastly, after I install, will have to re-install Transfuser?

You forget steps 2-4. Follow that and you'll get the DIGI0800...... code. The xode you got on the invoice is used in MyDigi to validation the authorization code delivery.

I see. So, the DIGI0800 is the authorization code. That's the number that will be asked for when I do the installation?

I think it prompts when you run the app the first time.
