AAF issues in PT 10.3 and 11 but not in 12.7 or 10.2?!
Ok. Here's a thing. Problems importing MC AAFs correctly have been discussed on this forum http://duc.avid.com/showthread.php?t=387951
It seems newer versions of MC can import mixed frame-rate media but the time stamps cannot be interpreted correctly by older version of Pro Tools. This was apparently remedied in 12.5 (personally confirmed by purchasing one-month of PT 12.7). However, by chance I opened a problematic AAF in PT10.2 and it worked perfectly. So what got broken between 10.2 and 10.3 but is now 'fixed' in 12.5+? |
