Re: controling PT with a BEHRINGER BCF2000 interfa
Yes
I'm not 100% sure, but you have to boot the BCF2000 so that it goes into mackie HUI mode. Then when you boot PT it should be listed as a mackie HUI in the controller menu. I have seen it running on a Mac at a local Guitar Center with PT LE so I know for a fact that it definately works. I would check Behringer's site for more info. Now all I'm waiting for is Intel Mac drivers. But I guess, first I need an Intel Mac before I can think about this stuff ;-)

Ok, it works,
got to update the firmware to 1.07 (see on Behringer'site) with Sysex Librarian (freeware) and then open the BCF2000 in HUI mode. It works great. (apart the management of automation, allready discussed on this forum) fxr |

Re: controling PT with a BEHRINGER BCF2000 interfa
I know there are PC guys running it without a problem and in fact
are running multiple units. Sorry I can't point you to a specific thread or post ATTM. I would try a search on the DUC for it. I'm considering one of these myself, but I like the idea of a Project Mix I/O better. The only disadvantage the Behringer has,is that the faders are not touch sensitive, and therefore will not work as well in certain automation modes. Also, I like the idea of having a visual reference for which banks and/or faders I'm working with on the control surface itself. But all in all, the Behringer is THE best choice for the money.
